The Passive Defense Organization is an institution whose primary duty is to identify the threats as well as the strengths and weaknesses of the country. Among the threats faced are economic threats, to which all pillars of the state are, in some way, connected. Throughout history, economic strikes have been an effective and efficient method of inflicting harm on adversaries. This weapon has been used by the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran for many years. Economic strikes have been on their agenda, and various types of economic sanctions have been imposed against our country. Both the government and the Passive Defense Organization independently bear the responsibility of countering these threats, although their cooperation is also on the agenda. In this article, this cooperation will be examined from the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence. The research model in this study is theoretical and has been conducted through the use of jurisprudential and legal sources, applying a case study method. The findings of the study show that Islamic jurisprudence considers it the duty of an Islamic government to confront and combat foreign threats to the internal affairs of the country and provides significant and effective methods in this regard.
